Is this the best or worst wedding entrance ever?

The wedding entrance can be a fraught and nerve-wracking moment. Some couples are simply too over-whelmed to even contemplate doing something different.  While other couples…well, other couples have other ideas.

Is this the best way to make sure your wedding entrance is remembered?

What do you think?

  1. As a provider of quality vocal music for wedding ceremonies and receptions for over 20 years, I know that the stress for brides and grooms of a “perfect” ceremony becomes quite an issue, and although this was a fun entrance if it was in a film, I wonder if the worry about the “performance ” needed from the wedding party detracted from the celebration of the vows to one another that the couple were about to take. It is fun to have a chuckle in a ceremony and to share your joy, and if this is how all the people in the wedding party feel comfortable celebrating, then go for it, but have a care for the nerves of the day, and the video memories you may be looking at in 20 years time that you may wish you had done differently! Lyrica is asked to sing the “Flower Duet” at a lot of bridal entrances to the ceremony. here is our version of a perfect wedding song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sq-kbuk9Q5g

  2. I know lots of wedding couples these days are looking for different but this for me is pushing the opening to a wedding ceremony a little to far…. I loathe it, it makes a joke out of the whole meaning of getting married. I see many couples not even making it to their 1st anniversary. Starting off with a wedding ceremony like this would be one of the reasons why this would happen.

  3. If you want to stage a party, that’s great.
If you want publicly to commit to spending you life with one particular other person that is an entirely different matter. By all means surround that event with the people who are important to you both and spend a lot or a little on the event, depending on your taste and your circumstances.
But do not confuse the two.

  4. Very funny. Great dancing.
